That Red House

After some serious health scares, the couple behind That Red House decided it was time for a change. Selling their house in the eastern suburbs of Adelaide, they moved out to the hills, where they started a chemical free life.

During this period of adaptation, they realised they could find no detergents without hidden chemicals. Intending to use the washing greywater on their veggies, they really needed a solution that was completely free of toxins.

Enter soapberries. After a little while keeping them a secret, they decided the world needed to know about this life changing little nut. In 2013 they imported around 600kgs of soapberries, and That Red House as we know it was born.
