HOW TO USE
Diffuser: Add 6-8 drops to your diffuser to refresh the senses and promote mental clarity.
Massage: use a 1% dilution; 20 drops per 100ml/3.38fl.oz carrier oil as a maximum. Peppermint has a strong aroma and powerful effect, therefore a small number of drops is enough to provide therapeutic effect.
Bath: Add up to 2 drops, in a dispersant such as oil, to the bath.
Hand or foot bath: Add 1 to 2 drops of essential oil to a bowl of water. For inflammation consider using cold/room temperature water. For aches and tight muscles use warm/hot water.
Steam treatment (respiratory system): Add 1 drop of essential oil to a bowl of steaming hot water. Use caution due to risk of burns or scalding, and keep eyes covered during treatment as peppermint steam may cause irritation
Compress: to a bowl of water add 2 drops of essential oil. For treating inflammation or to cool down use cold to room temperature water, for aching tight muscles use warm to hot water. Soak a face washer in the water, wring out excess moisture and apply washer to the affected area, repeat two or three times as the compress cools down or warms up.
Blends well with: Basil, Bergamot, Cedarwood, Cypress, Lemon, Lime, Pine, Rosemary, Marjoram
Avoid during pregnancy and is not recommended for babies and small children. Peppermint oil is an antidote to homeopathic remedies and should be avoided during homeopathic treatment.
Skin & Hair: Can help irritation and itchiness, redness, inflammation and sunburn.
Body: Helps headaches, migraines, stress, water retention and swelling. Improves digestive disorders, nausea, wind, irritable bowel syndrome and intestinal spasm. It ais also a great remedy for aching muscle aches & pains.
Wellbeing: Excellent for mental fatigue. It refreshes the spirit, stimulates mental agility and improves concentration.
